There are some questions that come up when considering church membership; does it even matter if I am a member of a church? Why do I have to know what the church believes? Why do I need to understand church doctrine? Why do I need to sign anything? Why do I need to meet with the pastor? Along with many other questions. People often ask questions like these about the membership process and are skeptical as to the legitimacy of church membership.
It is true; at Ignite Church we take membership seriously. Committing yourself to a body of believers is weighty, but it is also wonderful and exactly what Jesus intended for us. When you become a member of Ignite Church you are committing to a spiritual family that will provide support and encouragement. You are also called to a biblical degree of responsibility, service, and sacrifice to your brothers and sisters in Christ. The pastors, elders, and leadership of Ignite also pledge to assist our members with care, counsel, prayer, and edification.
Once per quarter we hold group membership classes on Monday evenings. If you would like to meet with our Pastors and learn what Ignite is all about, stop by the Info desk on Sunday morning to sign up for the class. You can also email the church operations manager to sign up or for more info: email@example.com
NEXT CLASS: is scheduled for: MONDAY January 9, 2017 6:30pm
Childcare is available. Please note when signing up if you will need childcare.
We have created these training videos that will teach you about our doctrine, what we believe regarding theology, the bible, salvation, the trinity, and more.
